Some people are reluctant to try phone chat because they worry about having to deal with someone who's aggressive or otherwise unpleasant on the line. This concern is easily addressed in two parts.
Part 1 – The phone chat system is set up so you never have to talk to someone you don't want to talk to. When you first call in and you're browsing greetings to decide who to chat with, you can simply skip any greetings you don't like the sound of! If a greeting really puts you off, or if you receive a message you don't like, you can block that chatter by pressing 7 during their recording. And if you think their greeting or message warrants a review, pressing 7 twice alerts our Customer Service Team to that inappropriate caller, and we will take care of the issue. Part 2 – On the rare occasion that you decide to chat with someone and the conversation takes a negative turn, or you start to feel uncomfortable in any way, don't worry! The thing about a phone call is it's easy to simply move on. You're not stuck in a restaurant with someone, you're in the comfort of your home, and at any time you can choose to end a chat. Don't ever feel stuck or obliged to stay on the line. If, at the end of a chat, you decide you don't want to talk to someone again, you can block them by pressing 7 and, as noted above, pressing 7 twice will alert Customer Service to that caller if they're being unpleasant. Phone chat should always be enjoyable, and the only person you're responsible for at the end of the day is yourself!
